I don’t think I would surprise you if I said that the spending on education (both public and private) is much higher now than it was in the past 10 or more years in several countries. Even if I said that it is not enough to match the increase in demand for it, notably at the higher education level, you wouldn’t be thaaaat surprised. ‘Ok’, you would say, ‘so what?’
